Welcome to Hospitality & Tourism Institute

The School offers a program of hospitality and tourism management studies towards Bachelor of Commerce (Hospitality and Tourism Management) degree. The School also offers an English Language Program for students needing to improve their English competency for entry to the undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

At SHTI, students have the opportunity to perform all the roles crucial to the successful operation of a hotel. This well balanced education combines practical skills, theoretical knowledge and personal development.

The campus itself is run by the students as a fully operational hotel. During the live-in semesters, students are both a hotel guest and student, learning to operate and manage different aspects of the hotel. From guest relations, front office management, food and beverage to housekeeping and property management, students gain experience in all aspects of hotel management .
